This is a first, plain-language version while Pasabuy is being started.

What Pasabuy is

Pasabuy is a place for people to arrange local pickups and errands with each other. Pasabuy is not a courier, a shop or a party to what you arrange. The agreement is between the requester and the Pasabuyer.

Your account

You sign in with LegitShield and must be 18 or older. You are responsible for what is done with your account.

Money

Pasabuy doesn’t hold, send or guarantee money, and takes no fee. Amounts shown on a request are a record of what the two of you agreed. Paying, and being paid, is between you.

What you agree to do

• Follow the rules, including what can’t be requested or carried.
• Describe requests honestly, and only accept what you can do.
• Treat each other with respect, and not use Pasabuy to scam, harass or mislead anyone.

Problems between people

Use “Report a problem” on the request. We look at reports and may remove a request or a person, but we can’t recover money or items, and we don’t decide who owes what.

Removing requests and accounts

We may remove a request or stop someone using Pasabuy if they break these terms or the rules, or to keep others safe.

No guarantees

Pasabuy is new and offered as it is. We don’t guarantee that a request will be accepted, that the people you meet will do what they say, or that the service will always be available. Check who you’re dealing with, and use your own judgment.
